PHERESIS DONATION OPPORTUNITY

Blood Donor The first Saturday of every month a Red Cross mobile unit is at Doylestown Hospital for blood platelet donation, also known as pheresis. (These donations will go into the Red Cross blood bank and can be used by Jake Paternoster the next time he needs them.)

Hillary Black, phone number 215-773-3587, is the contact person to schedule appointments for Saturday, February 2, or Saturday, March 1. Or you may call her to learn more about it and leave your name and number for future months.

FYI: Platelet donation takes about two hours, during which time you lean back and watch a movie. By the time you see the closing credits you'll be done! And most people say it's easier than giving whole blood!
