'New Song' Praise TeamNew Song News - May 2009Submitted by admin on Sat, 2009-05-02 00:48.
A message, music, children's time, scripture and prayer will continue to play important parts within the service. Typical, in-row seating will be provided for togetherness as family and with friends. However, in addition to that, we will be taking the suggestions of some to add a few tables around the sides of the worship area for better ease of Bible referencing and note taking throughout the sermons, and providing places for children to work on their church packets. Bibles, paper and pencils will be provided for your use. As you come into the worship area, you will be able to grab a cup of coffee and chat a few minutes prior to service beginning and listen to some up-lifting, Christ-centered music prior to our Opening Worship songs. With the newly launched Egeiro Ministry, the leadership of NewSong has sensed God's guiding hand and perfect timing in being able to provide for the additional needs of this service. We are very excited to both acknowledge and see God at work in this service and are anticipating what He has in store yet to come! Please, do come and join us as we celebrate the Lord each week! We pray you'll find a comfortable, worshipful place for you and/or your family as we come together to worship each Sunday. See photos and listen to New Song! Last Saturday, the praise team 'New Song' brought the house down with nearly two dozen tunes. The band led by Worship Leader and female singer Lynne Schneer, accompanist and male vocalist Alex Ingrassia showed their blessed talent with a two-plus hour performance that included cover and self-composed songs. Peter Thompson, "The Machine" backed up the team with a solid performance on the drums and Kris Gregory, Jan Verhelle, and Linda Sprenger provided fantastic supporting vocals. Photographs of the event are located --> here. Digital audio recordings of the performance can be found below as .mp3 files and a CD will be available in the Narthex in a few weeks. You can find 'New Song' at Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church every Sunday at 10:30AM in the Sanctuary as they lead the Second Worship Service. Come and Join us!
